Cuentitos ("the app") is published by Daniel Villamizar ("we"). Contact: hola@cuentitos.app.
Who the app is for
Cuentitos is aimed at adult parents and caregivers who create stories for their children. It is not intended for children to create accounts or use on their own, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child gave us data, email us and we will delete it.
Data we collect
- Account: your email address and password (stored hashed; we never see it).
- Stories: the options you choose (topic, hero, setting, lesson, length and the child's age range) and the generated story text. We do not ask for the child's name, photo or date of birth.
- Reports: if you report a story, we store which story you reported.
- Purchases: your subscription status. We never see or store your card details.
- Diagnostics: error and crash reports, so we can fix problems.
How we use it
To create your account, generate and store your stories, moderate their content, apply free-plan limits, manage your subscription and keep the app stable. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
- Supabase: database hosting and authentication.
- OpenAI: receives the story options to write the story and the resulting text to moderate it. We do not send your email.
- RevenueCat and Google Play: subscription and payment handling.
- Sentry: error reporting.
These providers process data on our behalf and may do so on servers outside your country.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data while you have an account. You can delete it in the app (Delete account) or by following these instructions; your account and stories are deleted.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and each user can only access their own stories.
Changes
If we change this policy we will post the new version here with its date.
